Design story & product details

The lettering is lime-green blackletter with curling swash capitals and a speckled, worn edge. It steps down over two chrome exhaust tips to say “It’s Not Loud. You’re Just Close.” Every owner of a straight-piped truck or a loud muscle car has wanted that comeback, and on a jersey tank it fits right in at a summer car meet.

My favorite part is the blurry figure caught in the smaller tip’s chrome. It suits the dad who never once turned his exhaust down.
