Design story & product details
A twisting pine is the largest form in Jeju Island Basalt, climbing from a hard cluster of rocks at the left and extending its long branches toward the open water. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the tree’s broad reach leaves deliberate intervals of empty ground between the trunk, its outer limbs, and the low shoreline beyond.
- Teal needle tufts are gathered into flattened, dense clusters, each edged darkly enough to separate the fine marks from the branches beneath.
- The black trunk is threaded with winding cream streaks, while the rocks shift from solid dark sections to grey stippling, rounded pits, and pale cream rims along their upper breaks.
- Narrow horizontal water strokes carry teal through the background; cream ripples interrupt them before a small cream passenger boat, marked by rows of dark windows, rests right of centre beneath the distant landform.
“JEJU ISLAND” is the only lettering, and it names the Korean island in English. Its tall cream capitals are bounded by black outlines, with thick stems, sharp tapering serifs, and curved terminals that run into the rocky base. The distant teal landform ends in a steep face marked with striations.
