Design story & product details
“Even in My Mess” is drawn in tall black serif lettering, each letter edged in cream so the thick and thin strokes stay crisp against the grey ground. Its baseline bends with a fine gold arc that loops around the image, picking up tiny red and gold dots and a black six-point star. The words lead into a stylised cream-toned face crowned with jagged black triangles. One sweeping black brow becomes the nose line; almond eyes with small round pupils meet two solid red cheek circles, each crossing the facial outline. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the design reads as an illustrated poster built around the verified message “Even in My Mess Jesus Loves Me.”
At the mouth, dense black looped lines are worked into a tangled knot, a deliberately restless mark against the clean face drawing. Black leaf branches rise along both sides, with a few gold leaves among their darker forms and small red and gold circles scattered between them; a small star appears on the right branch.
