Design story & product details
The print gives Kimono Floral Muse, a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, a vertical graphic built from a profile figure and a deliberately crowded lower field. A woman facing right anchors the image, her black hair gathered into a low bun, with loose strands and a small flower ornament breaking its outline. Her layered hanbok-style robe is divided into sage green, dusty rose, indigo, and teal planes, while dark floral patterning remains visible within the green bodice.
Along the top edge, white slab-serif letters spell Korean, cropped by the frame so their thick, sharp-ended forms become part of the composition. The word is English and means “of Korea.” One easily missed detail is the drift of bubble-like dots through the open grey area at upper right: they vary in size and become sparse as they rise, leaving room around the figure’s head.
The mark is built through flat, solid colour and clean cel-shaded divisions, with no modeled shading softening the robe. Rose, indigo, and teal sashes cut diagonally downward into a dense mosaic of overlapping circles, florettes, gears, and medallions. Muted pink, cream, olive, mauve, and lavender keep the lower portion busy without losing the separate edges of its many forms.
