Design story & product details
Ink treatment turns the words Korean Style into a broken-edged mark, with white interiors held by muted mauve borders. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the two words lock together in oversized lettering that refuses a level baseline. Its mauve edge is not continuous; it breaks into fine directional marks at several turns of the stroke.
The English wording reads Korean Style, naming its subject directly. Each letter changes scale or angle: the O is cut with a tall, pointed oval centre, while the A keeps a small triangular opening.
Long diagonals cut through the middle, interrupting the tight fit of the two rows. Fine mauve, gray, and nearly black streaks pull away from numerous edges, leaving dense brushlike frays at their ends. Some contour lines double back beside curved forms and along diagonal strokes, giving the outlines a hand-worked, layered register.
The lower L keeps moving into a broad underline that rises beneath the E. Narrow mauve drips fall below the S and this sweep, while the retained white interiors and angular slivers of space stop the compressed lettering from closing into a solid block.
