Description
Landing Receipts creates a mapped record of skate shoe wear, translating a skater’s experience into diagram and illustration. Navy blackletter headline lettering floats above, outlined in orange and surrounded by star accents and a swash, hinting at something earned and official. The skate shoe is rendered with its grey canvas sole-up—orange laces, white eyelets and an anatomical array of tread patterns each get their due. Heavily scuffed areas are precisely labeled, numbered and traced in orange, documenting toe drag, heel wear and a stitched patch detail, making visible the traces of movement and repetition.
Detail lines follow every feature: a navy skyline with a bridge and tower appears as an iconic marker, explained by the orange “Seoul” label above. The badge in the lower right reads “Skate Seoul Everyday,” while the base is set by a navy banner with checkerboard edge and the direct message “Use Is the Record.” Flanking the panel is an illustrated stair set with arrows, signalling the spot as much as the city. What’s printed on the shirt is a portrait of use and location, ideal for anyone who marks their own journeys, or wants to give a nod to Seoul and skateboarding culture.
