Design story & product details
Fine hatched lines give the open book a lightly worked surface, even where its pages narrow toward the bowed reader’s hands. Her long, wavy dark hair falls forward, partly closing the space between face and book.
The artwork is a grayscale pencil-style scene on a flat mid-gray ground. White cursive lettering, Lost in her world, carries a heavy black outline; its changing stroke widths, long loops, and the bar drawn through Lost keep it from reading like a clean typeset heading.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the seated figure is built in soft graphite shading, with fabric-fold marks across her clothes and dark tights meeting at crossed ankles. The lace-up boots have a slight gloss, stitched edges, and clearly blocked heels. Nearby, the transit seat is reduced to white planes, fine black contours, bolts, a window-frame edge, and cushion seams that curve in parallel.
Dense drawing stops before filling the field. Empty gray remains around the seat and below it, leaving the figure’s absorbed posture and the book’s delicate linework without extra scenery.
