Description
Sharp gothic-style lettering takes an arched route along the upper half, pressing its forms together so there is barely any space left. Pale blue stippling and crosshatching do more than fill the negative: they shape out an amphitheater-like hall, its walls framed by staircases and propped by columns that nestle into the rugged landscape. Hovering behind the open section above the steps, a lunar shape interrupts the scene, peering between architectural lines.
A slim oval frame surrounds the art, occasionally intercepted by small star-shaped nodes that keep the boundary precise. Below, a plaque uses unembellished sans-serif blocks to state “Observation Hall Est. 2086” in a direct, unfussy contrast to the elaborate arc above.
