Design story & product details

On a heavyweight crewneck tee, the print holds onto the fine pencil crosshatching, so the sepia octopus looks like a plate from an old naturalist’s sketchbook. Its sleepy, half-closed eye gives the joke away. Octopuses are famous for slipping out of their tanks, and this one offers some advice: Make an Elegant Escape. The words are lettered in swashed cream capitals along its own curling arm.
