Design story & product details
The grey field is deliberately left quiet at the sides and in the gap before the central roundel, giving the black linework room to register. Nocturne Gramophone appears on a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt as a monochrome emblem built from type, foliage and an old music machine. MIDNIGHT OWL arches high in weighty serif capitals; SOUND COMPANY follows in a finer, level line. Musical notes appear only near the upper corners, a small restraint that keeps the lettering clear.
- A sharply drawn owl grips the gramophone with visible talons, its feathering worked in fine black strokes across the circular scene.
- The horn has fluted ribs, while two pines form a narrow frame at either side of the bird and turntable base.
- Below, scrolls and floral details gather around AUTHENTIC SOUND, followed by the small location lines Nashville, Tennessee and Austin, Texas.
