Design story & product details
Thick coral-red script reading “Not so Sweet” arches across the top in a sweeping hand, its black outline, darker red edge shading, pale highlights and extended curls giving the words their largest presence. Beneath it, a brown bear princess brings a deliberately displeased expression to an otherwise ornate floral portrait. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, the bear’s piled dark-brown curls rise around a gold tiara with a red oval jewel, while cream round earrings and a beaded necklace trace the face.
- Sideways-looking eyes, heavy lashes and a downturned mouth give the bear a grumpy, unsmiling character.
- A red rose is held against a red-and-cream gown built from puffy sleeves, cream ruffles, gold piping, two oversized bows and layered skirt swags.
- Red roses, pointed green leaves and small cream buds climb both sides; four red hearts and four gold four-point sparkles fill the remaining white areas.
The lettering is English and means exactly what it says: “Not so Sweet.” The contrast is carried through the image in the red jewel, rose, gown and hearts, while the cream details recur in the jewellery, ruffles and buds.
