Design story & product details
A narrow grey shelf ends in soft rounds, its heavy black contour making a firm line under the vessels. The small foot beneath the ochre bowl is easy to miss, as is the clear space held between the shelf and the wordmark.
Three forms make the arrangement: an ochre bowl at left, a bright blue bottle with a flared lip and sloping shoulders in the middle, and a compact ochre vase at right. Black tapered hatching presses inward from their edges while horizontal black strokes travel across each body, giving the simple silhouettes a measured graphic construction.
Objets is French for “objects.” Its heavy dark blue-purple serif letters rise in an arch far wider than the shelf, with thin grey hatching following their strokes and solid dark intervals left between the marks.
The Classic Dad Hat carries the Objets Still Life embroidery as a compact still-life composition, leaving the surrounding crown quiet. Its narrow shelf, three distinct vessel profiles, and widely spanning arched lettering keep the image legible without crowding the form.
