Mint-green lettering cuts through the layered browns of an open cardboard box, carrying a tabby kitten with amber-brown eyes. The Only Wednesday artwork on a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt brings the cat and its message into a tightly crowded middle. “When you realize it’s” crosses the front flap, followed by “only Wednesday…”, preserving the delayed-realisation joke in the lettering itself. Cream and tan scratchlike strokes break over dark brown patches, and muted reddish-brown interiors appear within the kitten’s tall pointed ears. The letters are thick, narrow, rounded and uneven, yet solid mint throughout, with no outlines.
- The round eyes have black pupils and small cream highlights; a reddish nose meets a pale muzzle, from which fine whiskers extend sideways.
- Two striped paws rest over the flap, while layered brown shadows and tan exposed edges give the box its drawn construction.
- Mint curved emphasis marks flank the face, interrupting the brown box contours without adding an outline to the words.
Narrow white margins hold scattered brown specks, forming a restrained border around a composition where face, paws and text press close together. The humour comes from the specific moment the wording names: the week has barely begun, and it is only Wednesday.
