Design story & product details

Every Chicagoan knows the gap: a sentence left hanging while a train roars overhead. “Raised under the L. I still pause mid-sentence for trains.” runs through a painted view up into riveted rust and violet girders, with a blurred car of amber windows racing past. Below, one friend has stopped talking with a palm raised, while the other, in a maroon pom-pom hat, waits it out.

That frozen hand is the whole joke, painted on a longsleeve tee for anyone who grew up near the tracks. Give it to a Chicago transplant for Christmas.
