Design story & product details
Retro is assembled from five deliberately mismatched middle tiles, each treating a letter as its own small poster. An orange R carries layered coloured edges; a cream E gets a weighty black border; the T is solid black and slab-serifed. The next R is red and outlined in black, while the O frames a dark core with a four-point cream star. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, that uneven wordmark anchors a packed field of worn mustard, orange, teal, cream, brown and black imagery.
- The visible wording includes A, Good Times, 60 and Retro; Good Times also appears on the cassette.
- A yellow smiley, orange-labelled records, rotary telephone and large silver-and-black camera crowd the upper collage.
- Map fragments fill gaps between an astronaut overlapping small landscapes and a coastal-road photograph, twin-lens camera, radio, typewriter, red cup, books, plant, suitcase and sunglasses.
Speckling and abrasion run through the individual pictures as well as the letter tiles, giving the collection one weathered surface. Almost no interior area is left blank, so camera lenses, paper edges and small objects press into one another without forming a neat grid.
