Design story & product details
Two large spiral fossils feature in dense detail, stacked vertically and each framed by jagged rings of fractured stone. The upper fossil’s thick, curved ridges face the finer, radiating lines of the one beneath, both shaded with deep plum outlines and packed hatching that seem to press against one another inside an irregular edge. Small stone fragments drift at the rock margins, heightening the sense of pressure in the tightly filled composition.
Across the joint between fossils, “REUNITED” cuts through the texture, the serif letters sloping across the centre and sharing the same sand-filled, shadowed palette as the fossils. Lettering is marked by fine cracks and scratches that echo similar textures in the surrounding stone.
