The forceful lines and pointed terminals of heavy blackletter spell out “STAIRS EXIST,” anchoring the artwork’s energy at center. The oversized S pulls upward, while each letter is shaded in rust-red with angular diamond accents nestled into the strokes. Cream-toned outlines within the letters lend subtle depth.
Above the words, a striped cat stretches horizontally, tail curled in a loose arc leftward. The front paws are posed differently, with one pressing purposefully onto a rounded stair-post and the other slightly lowered, giving a sense of motion or uncertainty.
