Design story & product details
Two spiral fossils anchor the composition, drawn with careful contrast in ribbing and linework. The upper spiral has heavy, sweeping ridges that cast deep shadow into their grooves, while the lower spiral tucks its ribs tightly into fine lines that radiate out from a close-curled center.
Each fossil is contained within a broken, irregular ring that feels rough and uneven, and small stone shards seem to float free at some of the edges. These rings nearly touch, their rocky outlines packed with sandy fillers, roughed in with scratched hatching and intersected by jagged cracks.
The word REUNITED slants down through both stone rings and their fossils, its tan-filled letters bulked up with bold, flared serifs and shaded to one side for depth. Scratches scar even the lettering, blending it into the densely layered surrounding rock and fossil shapes.
