Design story & product details
Dry-brush fraying leaves small breaks of grey at the edges of the black Korean lettering, while a gold-tan sweep shows through in uneven fragments. The black characters retain tapered ends and dry, changing pressure. The words are Korean and mean Dokdo is our pride, giving the artwork a direct territorial message without reducing it to a simple text treatment. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, those forceful marks meet a rocky-island illustration in a restrained brown palette, cut through by deep teal-black water and fine white foam.
- A solid gold sun or moon is partly screened by outlined clouds, with no gradient softening its circular form.
- Three black gulls carry white beneath their wings as they move on a diagonal over the island forms.
- Fine splatter dots and ragged stroke ends preserve the hand-worked quality of the lettering.
The smaller script is visibly finer than the broad headline, with pointed tails that echo the islands’ angular ridges. Together, the elements join a national claim to a particular coastal image; the foam provides the brightest interruption within the darker water and stone.
