Design story & product details
A shield-shaped badge gathers Gwanghwamun, Seoul landmarks and Korean cultural symbols into a dense, poster-like composition on a grey ground. Gold sunburst rays rise over the cream-white arched GWANGHWAMUN wordmark, whose heavy black outline and shadow give the upper edge its force; the smaller line reads SEOUL – KOREA.
The black-and-white armored warrior, drawn with fine engraved crosshatching, anchors the interior from a stone pedestal, sword in hand, helmet plume and cape clearly defined. A gold-lined gate or pagoda appears to one side, while dark green mountains and a blue skyline with a tall tower build the opposing side. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Pullover Hoodie, that contrast keeps the historical figure sharply legible amid the colour.
GWANGHWAMUN is Korean romanisation meaning “Great Light Gate,” the name of Seoul’s historic gate. HISTORY and TOMORROW climb the two edges letter by letter in red, blue, green and gold, with cloud bands, sunflower-like emblems, stars, dot grids and dashes filling the remaining shield.
At the base, a black-and-gold ribbon carries ROOTED IN HERITAGE ALWAYS FORWARD in white capitals. Radiating black-and-white stripes extend below it toward a small red-blue yin-yang circle, framed by black bars and gold diamonds; the two corner ovals reduce the gate and mountain-and-tower imagery to small gold icons.
