Design story & product details
Arched bold lettering gives Runway Ascent its opening line: “TIME TO BE LIFTED” appears in cream, enclosed by a heavy navy edge and shadow. Its slightly distressed, mottled surface keeps the large type from reading as a flat block. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, a commercial jet climbs diagonally from lower left toward upper right, its white upper body held against an orange-to-navy underside.
The runway scene anchors the lower portion with a burst of orange sunset and cloud behind low terminal buildings. White directional marks and a centerline narrow toward the horizon, while fan-topped light poles repeat at both sides. The aircraft has two engines under its wings, outlined windows and cockpit, and landing gear still extended, a detail that gives the ascent an in-between moment.
Halftone dots carry the shading through the plane and airport scene, allowing the orange and navy palette to move from fuselage to runway. Wide wings show flap lines and small winglets, while navy contours hold the windows and forms together. Solid gray remains open around the tail and wing area, giving the dense lettering and runway image room to resolve.
