Fine navy dot work breaks through the orange shading beneath the jet, so its climb has texture without losing the clean commercial-airliner profile. Runway Departure is a Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt whose artwork pairs the words “TIME TO BE LIFTED” with an aircraft rising diagonally through a deliberately spare gray field. The cream lettering is built with a deep navy edge and shadow; its worn, mottled fill keeps the broad arch from reading as a flat sign.
- Two engines hang beneath the broad wings, with flap divisions, small winglets, outlined windows, and an extended landing gear all retained in the illustration.
- An orange cloudburst opens behind the terminal line, while navy halftone marks carry the sunset into the runway and plane underside.
- White runway arrows and a narrowing centerline draw toward the terminal horizon, bracketed by tall poles with distinct fan-shaped light heads.
The dense lettering and airfield form a top-and-bottom frame, leaving a notably quiet gray interval around the tail and left wing. That pause gives the upward angle room to register and connects the departure cue in the lettering to the runway still visible below.
