Design story & product details
Dark teal and gold carry the design from its curling banner into the brass-like mechanics below. Sailing the Skies appears in tall gold serif letters, with dark outlines, shaded banner edges, and sweeping capitals that make the wording part of the construction.
At its core, a large round fish faces left, its ochre back marked by dark spots and its cream belly cut into spikes. Pale fins are ribbed, while concentric brass rings frame a glossy black eye. Riveted bands, buckles, a cross-divided porthole, and a small tower carrying a flag turn the fish into an improbable airship.
Ropes fall from the body to a brown boat with teal panels, round windows, an anchor emblem, and two lanterns suspended below. Cream wings spread from either side of the hull, leaving white intervals between their edges, the ropes, and the cloud curls. Small gold stars punctuate the lower gaps.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the arrangement remains deliberately vertical and dense, yet never loses its separations. The smaller word the crosses a compass rose, a measured detail within all the ornate motion around it.
