Design story & product details
Orange-red moves through orange and yellow before cooling into muted teal and dark blue-green, giving the colour sequence a turning, tidal direction. In the upper field, very tall heavy “SURF” lettering is built from those shifts, with narrow white gaps and no separate outline. The colour changes remain continuous across the word, including the deep blue-green F.
The lettering’s extended right strokes do more than finish the word: they bend down into broad nested bands that make the curl. Orange-red, orange, yellow, dark blue-green, and teal travel around the wave in close layers, packed to the edges of the artwork.
Inside the largest white opening, a dark surfer holds a low balance on a narrow board, knees bent and arms extended in opposite directions. The hooked crest turns inward overhead, and several small pointed white cuts break its tip; they echo the narrow gaps between the letters. The board is reduced to a single slim dark line beneath the figure.
On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, fine pale speckles lightly distress every coloured band and letter, while the uncoloured interior remains the composition’s largest pause.
