A small five-pointed star closes the composition, held between a fine red line and a navy one at the lower edge. Above it, the cream 25 is worn through with cracks, speckles, and thin red inner strokes, while black contours hold the oversized numerals together. Their curling swash ends reach sideways without filling the outer margins, leaving the grey ground active around the design.
At its core, Taegeuk 25 brings a red-and-navy taeguk circle into a field of broad red, white, and navy brush swashes, with loose ink dots breaking the cleaner edges. The Korean words are an encouragement meaning Korea, fighting; they arc overhead in distressed gothic blackletter, cream within black outlines and fine red inlines. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the circle is separated from the numerals by a deliberate open band of grey, making the stacked arrangement read clearly. Scratches cut through both the lettering and number forms, matching the rough flag-derived brush treatment without obscuring the words.
