Design story & product details
Large cream serif capitals with heavy dark outlines set the tone above a breaching whale motif. The whale arcs diagonally, its rounded head raised to the upper right and a flipper sweeping left, layered over the stylised letters. Fine teal scratches and subtle cream speckles add life to its dark body, with curved throat lines drawn in cream. The surrounding water is a mix of jagged, layered dark waves and splashes in matching teal and cream tones. Along the lower edge, cream capitals repeat the phrase “that was not a wave,” following the churning surface. A compact shield at the base features “humpback whale” and “surface behavior” in cream, bordered by horizontal bands.
