Design story & product details
Four tiny screws hold the steel tap plate to the heel of the big shoe swinging toward you, and that bit of hardware is the whole joke. The engraved tap dancer on this sweatshirt is mid-step on a footlit stage, and the copper lettering underneath says The Floor Had It Coming. It makes every hard beat sound like payback.
The worn grey socks and cuffed tweed trousers give it the feel of an old vaudeville poster. Give it to a tap teacher before recital season.
