Design story & product details
Solid orange and pale gray ink turn the artwork into a layered Halloween sign, with dense letterforms giving way to an illustrated scene below. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, “Too Cute To Spook” begins with pale gray Too, then brings the oversized orange Cute and Spook together under a loose pale gray to that crosses their left edges. The capitals are packed tightly, their rounded inner openings and slightly flared ends keeping the lettering lively without softening its weight.
- A rough orange frame holds a cream moon and two black owls on a branching limb; the larger bird is on the right, and both carry cream eyes, orange beaks, and orange feet.
- Black bats, tiny stars, and cream sparkles break up the space around the moon, while grass traces the base of the illustration.
- A pointed white picket fence presses in from the lower left. On the opposite side, an orange jack-o’-lantern has sharply angular black features; a thin orange oval singles out the final word in the question below.
The closing pale gray line asks who says Halloween has to be scary? Its question is answered visually by the owls’ exaggerated eyes and the friendly scale of the pumpkin, not by a grim or spooky treatment.
