Design story & product details
The dark counter inside the lowercase p gives the otherwise pale, rounded lettering a small visual anchor. “Turn It Up.” is drawn across two lines at the upper left, each heavy letter edged with a fine gray outline and left mostly white.
A shaded woman takes over the right side of the composition, her swept curls built from dense black marks broken by sharp white highlights. Her angular sunglasses hold dark lenses, while parted dark lips and a hand pressed to her cheek make the face feel deliberately posed. The sleeveless low neckline continues the same scratched, high-contrast treatment.
At the lower left, a rectangular radio is packed with nested borders, a narrow tuning window, little knobs, and large circular dials divided into segments. The open white field between it and the lettering keeps the crowded lower details from closing in.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the artwork reads as a black-and-white music graphic with an illustrated figure and a carefully drawn radio. White interruptions throughout the hair, glasses, neck, and neckline give its deep shading a flickering, hand-worked surface.
