Design story & product details

On a heavyweight crewneck tee, the print holds onto every fine line of engraved hatching in these tall navy serif capitals, so Unfasten the Ordinary looks almost etched. A denim zipper with white stitching loops through the words in a loose figure-eight. Its big silver slider has been pulled partway open, and that is the whole idea: the everyday thing is coming undone.

The oversized O and Y give it some swagger. It makes a good graduation gift for a fashion design student.
