Design story & product details

Unfasten the Ordinary is drawn in tall navy serif capitals with fine engraved hatching. The U ends in a curled swash, and the O and Y of Ordinary swell to an oversized scale. A denim zipper tape loops through the words in a loose figure-eight, with its silver slider near the top and its teeth half undone. On this longsleeve tee, the slogan acts out its own advice.

The white stitching and metal teeth recall a favorite pair of old jeans. It suits a home sewer who keeps a jar of spare zippers.
