Design story & product details
The lettering begins with Urban, drawn in tall serif blackletter-style capitals that climb into an arch. Cream faces carry a mustard-gold shadow falling to the lower right, giving the word a stepped, sign-like edge. Primal answers beneath on a straight line, using the same cream and gold treatment in a more restrained serif rhythm. Together, the two words frame a symmetrical illustrated monument without adding any language beyond Urban Primal.
The Heavy Blend Unisex Pullover Hoodie carries this dense architectural image: a gorilla rendered in black-and-white crosshatching and stipple, with thick fur worked closely across the arms and shoulders. The face and chest shift into smoother shading, while amber-brown eyes provide the figure’s only color. Both hands rest on the ground with the knuckles clearly defined, reinforcing the muscular, cross-legged pose. Behind the gorilla, cream and mustard-gold stepped pillars build an Art Deco archway; a small trapezoid keystone interrupts the curve at its peak. The solid grey field remains open beyond the pillars at the upper corners and sides, holding the crowded central composition in place.
