Open grey corners and side space give Urban Primal a deliberate border around its crowded central image. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the artwork gathers a cross-legged gorilla beneath the words “URBAN PRIMAL,” with URBAN curving into an upward arch and PRIMAL holding a level line below. Cream lettering and mustard-gold shadowing keep the language clear against the grey field.
The architectural structure left unmentioned is an Art Deco archway, built from stepped rectangular pillars in cream and mustard-gold outlines. Its small trapezoid keystone lands precisely at the arch peak, a restrained geometric note against the animal form. The gorilla’s cross-legged posture brings both hands to the ground, with visible knuckles anchoring the muscular arms and broad shoulders.
Black-and-white crosshatching and stipple work build dense fur through the arms and shoulders, while the face and chest resolve in smoother areas of shade. That change in surface keeps the features readable without thinning the surrounding texture. Amber-brown eyes are the figure’s only coloured detail, quietly connecting the warm lettering palette to the otherwise monochrome illustration at its core.
