Design story & product details
A broad, high-contrast ink composition gives the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt the character of a framed graphic, pairing formal Art Deco structure with an intensely worked gorilla portrait. “URBAN” rises in tall cream blackletter-style capitals, with mustard-gold shadowing dropped down and right from every letter. “PRIMAL” follows in similar cream and gold serif capitals along a straight line. The lettering is English and reads Urban Primal.
Stepped rectangular pillars form an arch around the figure, their cream and mustard-gold outlines meeting at a small trapezoid keystone. The gorilla is drawn cross-legged, both hands planted with the knuckles plainly defined. Dense crosshatching and stippling build the fur over its arms and shoulders, while the face and chest shift into smoother tones. Amber-brown shading in the eyes is the sole colour within the otherwise monochrome figure. Open grey at the upper corners and beyond the pillars gives the crowded illustration a clear edge.
