Design story & product details
The rough yellow field gives Vintage Night NYC a poster-like edge on the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, where scraped breaks leave the black lettering and portrait feeling weathered. Heavy “Vintage” runs straight across the upper edge, while “Night” uses the smaller space beneath it at right.
At the core is a singer rendered in black, white, and yellow, eyes shut and mouth open around a diagonally held microphone. Dense halftone dots build the face, neck, and raised hand around the grip; the cable makes a distinct curved descent at the right.
Fine black curls fan into the narrow yellow margins, interrupted by little black stars, white four-point sparkles, flecks, and worn patches. Those marks crowd the portrait without leaving the remaining yellow as an empty background.
A black band carries “February 3rd, 1977” in yellow, including the raised “rd.” Beneath it, “From the Heart of” and the larger “NYC” complete the lower yellow strip and hold the dense arrangement together.
