Design story & product details
Pale-filled, heavy condensed lettering gives Wilderness Badge its starting point: Chasing runs smaller over Wilderness, with both lines climbing gently toward the right. Thin pale rules frame the words, and scattered dark distress marks break across their fill without obscuring the reading. Wilderness Badge uses the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt for a circular emblem that keeps the weathered type as its visual anchor.
Eight rounded rectangular landscape panels ring the double-outlined badge, whose projecting side lobes cut into surrounding scenes. Jagged mountains, pointed conifers, shoreline rocks, narrow waterways, and tall branching cacti press in from the panel edges. At middle left, a standing figure appears in water; the bottom-left scene holds a boxy vehicle with roof cargo and a rear spare wheel. Trees and rocks crowd the borders, while the scenes shift from water crossings to dry cactus country in quick succession. The panels leave only narrow passages of open sky between their crowded edges.
- Dark teal-green linework and solid fills work against an off-white ground.
- Each upper panel includes paddlers in a small boat.
- Open skies carry small birds, outlined sun circles, and fine horizontal strokes.
