Design story & product details
Violet faces meet near-black recessed bands, with narrow lilac edges giving the “GYM” lettering its cut, faceted depth. Winged Gym Gothic is a Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt whose artwork turns those three letters into a compact gothic emblem: the G is cut away at its outer corners, while its interior stays unusually open around a squared inward bar.
The Y continues below the neighboring letters in a pointed shield-like base, giving the word a deliberately uneven lower edge. Its wings lift from the upper section and spread outward, their sharp curling tips reaching higher than the letterforms. The M keeps tall upright sides around a deep central V, while densely outlined feather rows catch lighter upper edges. Broad unprinted openings preserve space inside the G, between the wings, and alongside the Y’s stem.
- The central Y reaches into a pointed shield-like base below the G and M.
- Overlapping wing feathers are traced in dark purple and edged with lighter upper marks.
- Purple dots, small droplets, and irregular splatter gather at the letter edges, while open gaps remain between the wings.
