Open space beside the right-hand plates leaves room for the words: All this iron still needs me, in cracked cream block letters that climb to the right, with still set biggest. Below them, a man seen from behind drives a loaded hack squat in a rust-orange tee and knee sleeves. Every rail and rusty plate is drawn in fine engraved crosshatching. On this crewneck sweatshirt, it’s a proud joke about never retiring from leg day.
It suits a dad who still trains legs at 6 a.m., given on Father’s Day.
