Design story & product details
The print recasts WARRIOR as a seven-part vertical construction, giving each letter a broad, slanted presence instead of a conventional wordmark. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, the grayscale treatment moves steadily from near-black at the left edge of each band into a pale, chrome-like white, so the letterforms appear cut from a single shifting surface. Thin gray rules maintain the breaks between bands without interrupting the rhythm of the design.
- Thick angular strokes build the lettering through diagonals, trapezoidal sections, and sharply sloping edges.
- Several bands pair a dark trapezoid with a narrow diagonal white highlight, a small repeated detail that makes the gradient feel more dimensional.
- Solid rectangular blocks interrupt some of the angled forms, while the far-right areas stay open and pale with sparse vertical line details.
The word WARRIOR is English, referring to a fighter or person known for courage. Its familiar meaning is handled here through structure and contrast: dark beginnings, bright exits, and repeated cuts that keep the seven bands connected.
