Burgundy red lettering meets narrow white insets in an embroidered reading of “APPLE SEASON.” On the Classic Dad Hat, the upper word rises into a pronounced arch, with the central P at its peak while the A and E angle outward at lower points. Every letter is built from broad, weighty strokes, but visible gaps keep the five characters from joining. A wide white band separates the arch from the level second line.
Apple Season names the familiar autumn stretch when apples are in season, and the lettering treats those words with the firmness of display type. Broad slab serifs square the ends of both rows, while rounded bowls soften the P, S and O. Fine white lines trace the inside edges of the burgundy forms, and short slanted hatches cut through much of each thick stroke, leaving red borders intact. No fruit, badge, or other illustration accompanies the words.
- The arched APPLE row has five deliberately separated letters.
- SEASON stays horizontal, with its six letters packed closely together.
- Diagonal white hatches follow a consistent slant across the thick strokes.
