Design story & product details
Cream and pale gold meet dense charcoal in Ascending Spiral, a tall ribbon study built from curling bands that lift from a broad folded base toward three flame-like points. Thin brown contours hold the illuminated faces in place while dark shading turns inward at each overlap. The artwork appears on a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, where its narrow vertical build leaves the surrounding field clear. An elongated oval of fine gold-brown arcs trails behind the ribbons, broken in places so it reads as a partial orbit.
At the middle crossing, the bands compress into a closely packed knot before opening into generous pockets of space among the upper curls and inside the side arcs. Small outlined circles appear in the gap on the left, balanced by a slim vertical line passing through the central structure. The lowest band is especially precise: its underside opens in a smooth curve, while the right side resolves into a straight doubled edge and a sharp point directed downward.
