Ascending Spiral begins with a broad folded base and gathers upward into a tall, narrow run of curling ribbons, ending in three pointed tips with the sharp contour of flames. It is an intricate ribbon study for the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt: cream and pale-gold faces catch the light against fine brown borders and closely worked charcoal hatching. Darker passages turn inward at each overlap, giving the central crossing a compressed, layered weight.
- The lowest ribbon opens into a curved underside before its doubled right edge drops to a sharp point.
- Thin gold-brown arcs behind the ribbons break into an elongated oval, with small outlined circles held in the left-side gap.
- A slender vertical line passes through the middle, while open spaces remain within the side arcs and upper curls.
The drawing balances its dense middle fold with deliberately unfilled intervals, so the rising movement never becomes a solid mass.
