"Au Marché Emblem" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

Empty space beneath the ribbon gives Au Marché Emblem an unusually clear lower field, leaving the ornament to carry the whole composition. The embroidered Classic Dad Hat brings together a broad white ribbon, dark indigo edging, and a compact botanical crest. Its ribbon rises in a shallow arch, then turns under at both ends into solid indigo folds before continuing as white tails with notched tips. Fine white channels interrupt the parallel indigo border lines, so the edges read as layers instead of a single heavy outline. The tails extend outward without crowding the open field.

“Au marché” is French for “At the market.” The wording is worked in heavy dark indigo serif letters that follow the curve and nearly fill the ribbon’s central panel. The oversized capital A starts the line with particular weight, while the small letters finish in fine serif tips; the acute accent over the final é remains clearly present. A white fleur-de-lis outlined in indigo anchors the upper group, with pointed green leaves and round green dots mirrored on stems to either side. Their tight symmetry makes the open lower area feel deliberate.
