Design story & product details
Thick, rounded orange capitals spell BIBIMBAP, their narrow white edging held apart from dark brown lower-right shadows and small cream highlights near the tops. The English word identifies bibimbap, a Korean mixed-rice bowl. A clean open gap separates the lettering from the large bowl illustration on the crewneck T-shirt, making the word read as part of the artwork’s own deliberate band of type.
The large round bowl is dark brown with black outlines, a thick grey rim, and broad handles cut by vertical grooves. Its packed interior circles a white fried egg: the yolk is yellow-orange, lit with white highlights and deepened along its lower edge, while tiny reddish-brown marks interrupt the uneven egg white. Pale green rounds, folded dark green leaves, narrow orange strips, tangled purple strips, beige mushroom slices, rectangular green stalks, and cream strands divide the contents into closely overlapping patches. Small brown openings remain between them, preserving the bowl beneath the food.
