Design story & product details
Grey space gives the City Monster Club artwork room to hold its stacked lettering, skyline and blue kaiju without crowding the edges. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the creature has a cream belly, two cream horns and orange triangular spikes, planted on a dark patch broken by black splatter.
Late Bloomer curves over the scene in close-set slab-serif letters: black at the top, then red-orange below. Its tired, half-closed eyes are paired with tiny black oval eyes and nostrils marked as dots. A cream moon disappears behind its head, while a flat blue cloud and a dark skyline with scattered orange, white and red windows carry the image from side to side.
The letterforms use rough distressed and speckled texture, with thick black outlining that keeps their compact arches legible. City Monster Club appears in black capitals between orange five-point stars; a fine orange rule runs above and a blue one below. The lower words retain the same firm, poster-like weight. Those narrow rules echo the colour changes in the larger lettering while leaving the skyline visually intact behind it.
