Cream lettering cuts through black waves and rust-red ribbons in Coffeeholic Muse, where a closed-eyed woman brings a striped cream cup close to her face. Cream steam curls upward through her flowing hair, which spreads in dense black sections threaded with rust-red, cream, and narrow grey strands. “Coffeeholic” and “Muse” appear in heavy, slanted letterforms with pointed serifs, high-contrast strokes, and long curling flourishes. Black shapes press close around the letters, while irregular white gaps break up the outer edge of the hair.
Five shaded coffee beans punctuate openings around the crowded composition. Fine freckles cross the woman’s cheeks and nose, and her rust-red lips echo the neckline and sleeve visible behind the lettering. Speckled distress marks run through both the cream fills and dark passages, softening areas that might otherwise read as solid.
