Design story & product details
Two heavy conifer boughs, bent under their own load of snow, lean toward each other and meet in a point, making a tall teardrop arch. The snow on them is off-white, shaded along its edges with fine dark-blue stippling, and the needles underneath are a deep teal-navy, thin and spiky.
Inside that arch a red fox climbs away from the viewer, moving up from the lower left. Its face is never shown. Only the backs of two dark-tipped ears give the head away, with a streak of white at the chest edge and one front paw lifted onto the next snowy ledge.
The fur is burnt orange, built from short dark hatching strokes that follow the body’s direction, so the long tail reads as heavier and looser than the shoulders before it ends in a wide white tip. On this unisex longsleeve t-shirt the artwork runs tall and narrow, which suits the upward line of the climb. Round clumps of snow drop in two curved strings on either side of the animal, larger near the branches and smaller as they fall, and the lower third is packed with snow-capped rocks and branch tips. The one open patch is the small gap just ahead of the fox’s ears.
It suits anyone who likes wildlife drawing and winter walks, and it makes an easy cold-season gift.
