A fat rear tire rolls toward you as a rider on a chopper leans into high bars. Behind him, a rusty marquee arrow points back the way he came. The bulb-lit sign says Home Was Two Miles Ago, which is the honest truth about every quick ride that kept on going.

The embossed metal finish makes the chrome pipes look hammered from steel, so the crewneck sweatshirt carries the feel of an old garage sign. It suits the dad who says he’s only riding around the block on Sunday.
