Design story & product details
Empty gray space gives the figure room to read as a single, crowded motif: a cream-and-beige tabby in a pale pink tutu, upright on its hind legs. The artwork is for a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, with the cat and lettering meeting through the torso while the surrounding field stays clear.
The words i’m trying my best run through the body in thick, rounded script. Their pink fill is edged in dark maroon, and the letters wobble along an uneven baseline with differing heights; even the apostrophe has the same hand-drawn looseness.
Dark brown tiger stripes break up the cat’s fur, while a white muzzle and chest frame its green eyes and pink nose. One front paw reaches outward with its pads visible, while the other is held inward.
Layers of sheer tulle move between pale pink and blush beneath a solid pink waistband. Satin pink ballet slippers are tied with ribbon, and the tail makes a low curl close to the feet; small rounded ears finish the upright silhouette.
