Description
Jagged gothic lettering pushes tightly together above a warship, each serif sharpened like small spikes. The black outlines and faded beige fills catch the eye first, but the thin slashes of red around the letters create a strange illusion: the shadows read as both cracks in old stone and the glow of heated metal. The sense of collision comes from the way many serifs interlock, crowding and straining against each other rather than keeping to just their own space.
Beneath the text, a warship with metallic armor cuts a line through heavy, swirling black-and-white waves. The bow emerges as a dragon’s head, flame erupting from its mouth and pushing hard left. Most of the sails are gone, replaced by dark red banners tattered at the edges. Oars twist out into the froth, and a single armored figure at the stern seems to keep watch. The only words, “IRON TURTLE 1592”, appear at the top; these are in English with no Korean wording present.
